{"id":89316,"date":"2015-07-03T11:49:28","date_gmt":"2015-07-03T11:49:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2015\/07\/03\/243158\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:18:51","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:18:51","slug":"deposits-at-armenias-commercial-banks-grows-2-4-to-amd-1-801-billion-in-may","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2015\/07\/03\/89316\/","title":{"rendered":"Deposits at Armenia\u2019s commercial banks grows 2.4% to AMD 1 801 billion in May"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, July 3. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The total amount of deposits at Armenia\u2019s commercial banks reached AMD 1 801 billion by late May 2015 after growing 2.4% over the month, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Central Bank of Armenia, residents\u2019 deposits in the commercial banks grew 2.56% in May to AMD 1 378.2 billion \u2013 their deposits in drams amounted to AMD 497.9 billion (0.3% growth) and deposits in foreign currencies to AMD 880.3 billion (3.9 growth).<\/p>\n<p>Residents\u2019 demand deposits totaled AMD 404.8 billion in late May \u2013 AMD 182.6 billion in drams and AMD 222.2 billion in foreign currencies.<\/p>\n<p>Their time deposits amounted to AMD 973.4 billion, of which AMD 315.3 billion were deposits in drams and AMD 658 billion in foreign currencies.<\/p>\n<p>Armenia has 21 registered commercial banks now.
