{"id":89935,"date":"2015-07-22T17:01:12","date_gmt":"2015-07-22T17:01:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2015\/07\/22\/243268\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:19:13","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:19:13","slug":"decline-in-armenias-foreign-trade-resulting-from-weakening-demand-from-russia-and-eu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2015\/07\/22\/89935\/","title":{"rendered":"Decline in Armenia\u2019s foreign trade resulting from weakening demand from Russia and EU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, July 22. \/ ARKA \/.<\/strong> The decline in Armenia\u2019s foreign trade is resulting largely from the weakening demand from Russia and the EU, the World Bank said in its monthly review of Armenian economy.<\/p>\n<p>According to the National Statistical Service, Armenia&#8217;s trade with Russia in the first five months of\u00a0 2015 decreased year-on-year by 54.6% to $242.7 million, while the\u00a0 trade with EU countries fell by 28.6% to $462.2 million.<\/p>\n<p>According to the World Bank review, Armenia&#8217;s negative trade balance in the first 5 months of 2015 actually halved compared with the same period of 2014 to $581.6 million.
