{"id":90530,"date":"2015-08-14T15:59:02","date_gmt":"2015-08-14T15:59:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2015\/08\/14\/243358\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:19:30","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:19:30","slug":"ebrd-fourth-issue-bonds-worth-amd-2-billion-listed-at-nasdaq-omx-armenia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2015\/08\/14\/90530\/","title":{"rendered":"EBRD fourth-issue bonds worth AMD 2 billion listed at NASDAQ OMX Armenia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, August 14. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The fourth-issue bonds of the European Bank for Reconstruction and development, which total AMD 2 billion, have been listed at NASDAQ OMX Armenia and included in Abond, the press office of the stock exchange reported on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The EBRD bonds with nominal cost of AMD 10,000 and maturity term of up to one year were listed under EBRDB4 ticker and will be authorized for targeted and repo transactions.<\/p>\n<p>The Central Depository of Armenia assigned AMEBRDB14UK0 ticker to the EBRD bonds.<br \/>\nThis is the second EBRD bond issue with a floating rate to be included in Abond.<br \/>\nNASDAQ OMX Armenia (former Armenian Stock Exchange, Armex), was established in 2001 as a voluntary merger of broker (dealer) companies.<\/p>\n<p>In early November 2007, the stock market was reorganized into an open joint stock company.<br \/>\nIn January 2008, Nordic exchange operator OMX Group acquired 100% of shares of the Armenian Stock Exchange (Armex) and in June 2009 it became the sole shareholder of the Central Depository of Armenia (CDA). After NASDAQ and OMX merged in March 2008, Armex and CDA have become fully owned by the NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc.<\/p>\n<p>On November 7, 2005, the Central Bank of Armenia provided a license authorizing the stock exchange to hold forex auctions.<\/p>\n<p>The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is one of the biggest investors in Armenia.
