YEREVAN, August 21. \/ ARKA \/<\/strong>.To encourage its employees, dealing with sales of banking cards, to improve their professionalism, commitment and show a creative approach, VTB Bank (Armenia) together with MasterCard international payment system conducted another incentive program to boost sales of Cirrus\/Maestro, Master Card Standard and MasterCard Gold cards.<\/p>\n

In the first stage of\u00a0 the program, all employees of the bank engaged in the sales of MasterCard cards, were given bonus awards, while 20 employees, who sold more cards from May 1 to July 1 2015 were allowed to participate in a raffle of a vacation package for two to a European country\u00a0 of their choice.<\/p>\n

The main prize was won by Ani Harutyunyan, an employee of the customer service department of Amasia branch. Besides, five employees of the branch received letters of appreciation for their active participation in the program.<\/p>\n

As a result of the program sales of Cirrus\/Maestro, MasterCard Standard and MasterCard Gold rose by 40%.<\/p>\n

VTB Bank (Armenia) CEO Yuri Gusev was quoted as saying in a press release that\u2019 We firmly believe that the sustainable development of the Bank is hinged on the creativity, motivation and intention of the staff to improve their professional skills.\u2019<\/p>\n

The second stage of the program runs form August 1 to November 1, 2015.<\/p>\n

VTB Bank (Armenia) is a 100% subsidiary of Russian VTB Bank. It runs 67 branches across Armenia.<\/p>\n

As of late June 2015 the bank\u2019s assets totaled 316.8 billion drams, a decline of 12.3% from the beginning of the year; its liabilities stood at 287.2 billion drams, a decline of 13% and its capital was worth 29.6 billion drams, a drop of 3.5% when compared to the beginning of the year.
