{"id":91465,"date":"2015-09-24T10:35:07","date_gmt":"2015-09-24T10:35:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2015\/09\/24\/243560\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:20:08","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:20:08","slug":"the-history-of-armenian-currency-exhibition-opens-in-vanadzor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2015\/09\/24\/91465\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;The History of Armenian currency &#8216; exhibition opens in Vanadzor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, September 24. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The exhibition &#8216;The History of Armenian Currency &#8216; opened Wednesday in Vanadzor, Lori province, at the initiative of the Central Bank of Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>The key aim of the exhibition is to present the history of the national currency and the central bank&#8217;s activity to Vanadzor residents, said Armenak Darbinyan, a member of the central bank&#8217;s board.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abThis exhibition is an excellent chance for school children, students and companies&#8217; employees to get a better knowledge of the central bank&#8217;s activity and its functions and to get answers to all their questions,\u00bb he said.<\/p>\n<p>Gevorg Mugalyan, a numismatist at the central bank&#8217;s division in charge of money circulation, said that the history of the dram is a part of the rich Armenian culture.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abWe should first study our currency history and then show it to the entire world,\u00bb he said.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will be open until October 1.
