{"id":91954,"date":"2015-10-13T14:16:15","date_gmt":"2015-10-13T14:16:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2015\/10\/13\/243652\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:20:25","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:20:25","slug":"loan-agreement-between-eurasian-development-bank-and-armenia-for-north-south-motorway-construction-takes-force","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2015\/10\/13\/91954\/","title":{"rendered":"Loan agreement between Eurasian Development Bank and Armenia for North-South motorway construction takes force"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, October 13. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> An agreement, under which the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development extends an investment loan to Armenia for building a section of North-South motorway, came into force last week, the press office of the Eurasian Development Bank reported on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cArmenia&#8217;s transport ministry will very soon embark on the paperwork necessary for conducting a tender for choosing a builder and an adviser on supervision over the execution of the project,\u201d the bank says in its press release.<\/p>\n<p>According to the press release, the construction is planned to be launched in 2016.<br \/>\nThe North-South (Iran-Armenia) motor road will give Armenia another gateway to the world and an alternative way to transport energy resources and other commodities.<\/p>\n<p>The North-South transport corridor connects the Central Asian, Iran and India with Georgia, Russia and Europe.
