{"id":92465,"date":"2015-11-02T09:03:04","date_gmt":"2015-11-02T09:03:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2015\/11\/02\/243757\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:20:47","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:20:47","slug":"armenian-banks-bought-82-1-million-in-one-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2015\/11\/02\/92465\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian banks bought $82.1 million in one week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, November 2. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Twenty-one Armenia-based commercial banks bought a total of $82.1 million from the local foreign exchange intra-market from October 26 to October 30 at the weighted average exchange rate of 471.06 drams per $1, the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia said.<\/p>\n<p>It said also in the same time span they bought 5.3 million Euros and about 755.5 million Russian rubles at weighted average exchange rates of 518.11 per one Euro and 7.37 drams per one ruble.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold $68.9 million, \u20ac20.8 million and 325.5 million Russian rubles at the weighted average exchange rates of 472.85 drams, 521.45 drams and 7.47 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Besides, from October 19 to 25 the banks extended about 47.7 billion drams worth loans in the Armenian national currency and $37.3 million loans in US currency.<\/p>\n<p>Also a total of $5.95 million were traded at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange from October 5 to October 9, up from $2.85 traded a week before, the Central Bank reported. It said the US Dollar at NASDAQ OMX traded at 472.95 drams average weighted exchange rate.
