YEREVAN, December 11. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Unibank is planning ordinary stock IPO at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, the bank\u2019s press office reports.<\/p>\n

The stocks will be auctioned from December 18 to 24.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnibank is the first bank in Armenia to auction stocks through IPO at NASDAQ OMX Armenia,\u201d Unibank says in its press release. \u201cUnibank intends to auction 14.5 million ordinary equities.\u201d<\/p>\n

The decision was prompted by Unibank\u2019s ambition to reach a new development level and to become a people\u2019s bank.<\/p>\n

The bank\u2019s activity is focused on making banking services available to various categories of people and promoting small- and mid-scale businesses.<\/p>\n

Unibank, as a modern and innovative bank, has always applied new technologies. Its stable financial state, development prospects and effectiveness as well as the market\u2019s positive reaction and the society\u2019s interest in the bank\u2019s shares show clients and investors\u2019 confidence in the bank.<\/p>\n

Unibank was established in 2001. In 2002, the bank introduced Unistream system. The sole shareholder of the bank is Glovery Holding LTD.<\/p>\n

In 2015, the bank was reorganized into an OJSC. Its assets totaled 156 billion, liabilities AMD 135.3 billion and credit investments AMD 107.6 billion in late September, and its capital amounted to AMD 20.7 billion.
