{"id":94703,"date":"2016-01-26T14:10:15","date_gmt":"2016-01-26T14:10:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2016\/01\/26\/244129\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:22:00","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:22:00","slug":"armenia-to-host-info-2016-financial-ombudsmens-annual-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2016\/01\/26\/94703\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia to host INFO 2016 financial ombudsmen\u2019s annual meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, January 26. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia is to host an annual session of INFO 2016, a worldwide association of financial services ombudsman schemes, Armenian Financial Ombudsman Piruz Sargsyan said on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The session will take place from September 18 to 21 in Yerevan.<\/p>\n<p>In her words, Armenia\u2019s financial ombudsman office became a full member of this network in 2099, and in 2015 the country applied for hosting the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a great honor to us to host such an important event,\u201d she said. \u201cMore than 100 representatives of financial ombudsmen\u2019s offices from 60 countries are expected to attend it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sargsyan also said that the assembly is financed by every participant independently. It means the expenses will be paid not by Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>The first financial ombudsman office in the Commonwealth of Independent States was established in Armenia.
