YEREVAN, February 15. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> On February 12, 2016, during a special ceremony held at NASDAQ OMX Armenia winners of NASDAQ OMX Armenia Best Member Awards 2015 were announced.
\nThe Annual Ceremony is held for the 6th time in a row and aims to award most active Members of the Exchange and, for already the second time, the Depository.
\nAccording to 2015 results the Exchange granted Awards for the following nominations:
\nBest Exchange Member in Corporate Securities Market,
\nBest Exchange Member in Government Bonds Market,
\nBest Exchange Member in Foreign Currency Market,
\nBest Exchange Member in Credit Resources Market,
\nBest Exchange Member in repo\/swap transactions,
\nBest Exchange Member.<\/p>\n

This year also an award was granted for the \u201cBest trading partner\u201d nomination, where the winner is elected by traders\u2019 community through nominating and voting for the candidates.
\nAccording to 2015 results the Depository granted awards for the following nominations:
\nBest Account operator-Custodian of Depository system in Corporate Bonds Market,
\nBest Account operator-Custodian of Depository system in Foreign securities Market,
\nBest Account operator- Registry keeper of Depository system,
\nBest Member of Stock Exchange Settlement System,
\nBest Member In Unified System Of Securities Registration and Settlement,
\nBest Performer In Unified System Of Securities Registration and Settlement.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest Exchange Member in Corporate Securities Market\u201d was recognized \u201cArmswissbank\u201d cjsc. Among the best performers\/nominees in corporate securities market were \u201cArmenbrok\u201d ojsc and \u201cCapital Investments\u201d cjsc.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest Exchange Member in Government Bonds Market\u201d was recognized \u201cAraratbank\u201d ojsc, competing with the other nominees – \u201cArmswissbank\u201d cjsc and \u201cAmeriabank\u201d cjsc.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest Exchange Member in Foreign Currency Market\u201d was recognized \u201cArdshinbank\u201d cjsc competing with the other nominees, \u201cAmeriabank\u201d cjsc and \u201cVTB Bank (Armenia)\u201d cjsc.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest Exchange Member in Credit Resources Market\u201d was recognized \u201cVTB Bank (Armenia)\u201d. The other best nominees for the \u201cBest Exchange Member in Credit Resources Market\u201d award were \u201cConverse Bank\u201d cjsc and \u201cArdshinbank\u201d cjsc.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest Exchange Member in repo\/swap transactions\u201d was recognized \u201cConverse Bank\u201d cjsc. The other best nominees for this award were \u201cArdshinbank\u201d cjsc and \u201cAcba-Credit Agricole Bank\u201d ojsc.<\/p>\n

The Grand Prix for \u201cBest Exchange Member 2015\u201d was awarded to \u201cArmswissbank\u201d cjsc, competing with other nominees – \u201cAraratbank\u201d ojsc and \u201cVTB Bank (Armenia)\u201d cjsc.
\nDuring the Ceremony Karen Sargsyan, trader of “VTB BANK (Armenia)” cjsc was recognized as the<\/p>\n

\u201cBest trading partner\u201d for 2015 through voting by secret ballot among the traders.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest Account operator-Custodian of Depository system in Corporate Securities Market\u201d became \u201cArmenbrok\u201d ojsc. The other best nominees for this award were \u201cArmenian development bank\u201d ojsc and \u201cCapital Investments\u201d cjsc.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest Account operator-Custodian of Depository system in Foreign securities Market\u201d became \u201cAmeriabank\u201d cjsc, competing with the other nominees – \u201cAcba-Credit Agricole Bank\u201d cjsc and \u201cArmenian development bank\u201d ojsc.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest Account operator-Registry keeper of Depository system\u201d became \u201cArmenbrok\u201d ojsc, competing with the other nominees – \u201cAmeriabank\u201d cjsc and \u201cArmswissbank\u201d cjsc.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest Member of Stock Exchange Settlement System\u201d became \u201cArmswissbank\u201d cjsc, competing with the other nominees – \u201cAmeriabank\u201d cjsc and \u201cCapital Investments\u201d cjsc.<\/p>\n

The Grand Prix for \u201cBest Member In Unified System Of Securities Registration and Settlement\u201d was awarded to \u201cArmenbrok\u201d ojsc. The other best nominees for this award were \u201cAmeriabank\u201d cjsc and \u201cArmswissbank\u201d cjsc.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest Performer In Unified System Of Securities Registration and Settlement\u201d became Elmira Ghalumyan, \u201cArmenbrok\u201d ojsc. The other nominees for this award were Elen Ghazaryan, \u201cArmenbrok\u201d ojsc and Lusine Davtyan, \u201cArmswissbank\u201d cjsc.<\/p>\n

NASDAQ OMX Armenia is the only stock exchange currently operating in Armenia. On January 26, 2009, \u201cArmenian Stock Exchange\u201d ojsc was officially renamed as \u201cNASDAQ OMX Armenia\u201d ojsc.
