According to the regulator, the remittances if calculated in the national currency, amounted to 81 billion, up from 76.2 billion drams a year ago (a 6.3% growth).<\/p>\n<p>Total remittances sent to Armenia in 2015 fell by 23.5% to $1.623.6 billion. Remittances in Russian rubles last year grew by 5.7% from 2014 to 45.7 billion rubles.<\/p>\n<p>If calculated in the national currency, total remittances in 2015 amounted to 776.3 billion drams, down from 881.9 billion drams in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Remittances sent to individuals for non-commercial purposes decreased by 30% in 2015 to $1.208.5 billion.
