{"id":96355,"date":"2016-03-24T14:30:57","date_gmt":"2016-03-24T14:30:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2016\/03\/24\/244382\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:22:49","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:22:49","slug":"areximbank-gazprombank-groups-employees-collect-assistance-for-armenian-refugees-from-syria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2016\/03\/24\/96355\/","title":{"rendered":"Areximbank \u2013 Gazprombank Group\u2019s employees collect assistance for Armenian refugees from Syria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 24.\/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Areximbank \u2013 Gazprombank Group\u2019s employees have collected assistance for Armenian refugees from Syria as part of the campaign \u2018You are Not Alone\u2019 run under the patronage of Russia\u2019s embassy and center for science and culture in Armenia, the press office of the bank reported on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Yelena Markova, advisor to Areximbank \u2013 Gazprombank Group CEO, is quoted in the press release as saying that the bank pay special attention to socially unsecured categories of people, to those who are in extremely dire straits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis time we have immediately responded to the Russian-Armenian Youth Unity activists\u2019 call to help Armenian refugees from war-stricken Syria,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was a really nationwide campaign for us, since not only the bank\u2019s head office and Yerevan branches, but also its most remote branches all over the country took part in it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some 44 families that fled Syria because of the war have received various food and nonfood products from the bank.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am proud of my colleagues and I am grateful to all those who responded to our call showing that there can be no someone else&#8217;s troubles in our country,\u201d Markova said. \u201cWe frankly hope that Syria war will be over soon and everybody will live as before that \u2013 in peace and conciliation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Areximbank \u2013 Gazprombank Group CJSC was established in 1998.
