{"id":96913,"date":"2016-04-13T13:55:29","date_gmt":"2016-04-13T13:55:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2016\/04\/13\/244480\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:23:08","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:23:08","slug":"transactions-made-abroad-by-using-armenian-banks-plastic-cards-reduced-20-7-to-amd-5-8-billion-in-february","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2016\/04\/13\/96913\/","title":{"rendered":"Transactions made abroad by using Armenian banks\u2019 plastic cards reduced 20.7% to AMD 5.8 billion in February"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 13. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Transactions carried out abroad in February by using all the types of the plastic cards issued by Armenia\u2019s commercial banks amounted to AMD 5.8 billion showing a 20.7% month-on-month decline, the Central Bank of Armenia reports in a fresh issue of its monthly bulletin.<\/p>\n<p>The number of transactions reduced 0.3% to 167,800.<\/p>\n<p>Non-cash transactions carried out over the same month totaled about AMD 4.3 billion showing a 25.6% month-on-month decline.<\/p>\n<p>The amount withdrawn abroad by using plastic cards in February 2016 was equal to AMD 1.47 billion against AMD 1.5 billion withdrawn a month earlier (1.9% decline).<\/p>\n<p>As of late February, plastic cards were issued and serviced by 21 commercial banks operating in Armenia\u2019s territory, of which 19 are participants of ArCa single national payment system.
