{"id":97314,"date":"2016-04-26T10:27:06","date_gmt":"2016-04-26T10:27:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2016\/04\/26\/244552\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:23:20","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:23:20","slug":"assets-of-armenias-five-biggest-banks-grow-3-to-amd-1-860-28-billion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2016\/04\/26\/97314\/","title":{"rendered":"Assets of Armenia\u2019s five biggest banks grow 3% to AMD 1 860.28 billion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 26. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Aggregate assets of Armenia\u2019s five biggest banks have grown 2.89% since the beginning of this year to AMD 1 860.28 billion by the end of the first quarter, according to a fresh issue of ARKA News Agency\u2019s quarterly bulletin \u2018Banks of Armenia\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Ameriabank, Ardshinbank, VTB Bank (Armenia), Armbusinessbank and ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK are singled out as the biggest banks for their assets.<\/p>\n<p>Ardshinbank\u2019s assets grew 15.14% over the first quarter to AMD 461.1 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Ameriabank\u2019s assets shrank 1.58% to AMD 507.7 billion. VTB Bank (Armenia) increased its assets by 1.48% to AMD 314.7 billion. Armbusinessbank\u2019s assets reduced by 3% to AMD 297.3 billion and ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK\u2019s assets grew 1.65% to AMD 279.2 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty banks operated in Armenia in the first quarter of 2016.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015, Inecobank acquired 100% of ProCredit Bank\u2019s shares.<\/p>\n<p>The top five banks\u2019 assets made up 53% of the total assets of the country\u2019s 20 banks, which amounted to AMD 3 507.7 billion in the first quarter.
