The number of transactions fell by 7 percent to 161,300.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of non-cash transactions made by using cards in 2016 April fell by 2.3% from March to about 4.4 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>The plastic cards were used abroad also to withdraw the equivalent of 1.37 billion drams, down from 1.52 billion drams in March (9.7% decline).<\/p>\n<p>All 20 Armenian based commercial banks issue and service various payment cards. Eighteen of them are members of the unified local payment system arca.
