The Yerevan-based bank announced the placement of bonds with the face value of USD100 and maturity term of 24 months on April 8.<\/p>\n<p>Coupon profit payments will be made quarterly, while the redemption of the bonds is slated for April 8, 2018, the bank said in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>The minimum package includes 10 bonds worth $1,000. After the placement the bonds are expected to be listed at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The significant interest in Unibank\u2019s bonds and shares indicates a high degree of confidence of the population in it, as well as the bank\u2019s effective and far-sighted strategy,\u2019 Unibank said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Unibank has always kept pace with the times and global trends. By providing investment tools to the people the bank creates additional opportunities for profitable and long-term investment,&#8221; it says.<\/p>\n<p>Unibank\u2019s development strategy for 2016-2020 is expected to raise its share in the overall amount of deposits of the banking sector to 9% by 2020, the share in retail businesses to 13%, and the share in SME lending to 9.5%. The Yerevan-based bank also expects the number of its customers to increase to 430,000 and the amount of capital to 42 billion drams. The combination of these factors is expected to secure a profit of 5 billion drams by 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The assets of the bank in the 1st quarter of 2016 amounted to about 170 billion drams, liabilities \u2013 to 146.5 billion drams, the total capital &#8211; to 23.2 billion drams, and the chartered capital to 15.6 billion drams. Its credit investment stood at 114.6 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>In the first quarter of 2016 Unibank earned 212 million drams in profit. .
