{"id":99239,"date":"2016-06-24T09:45:38","date_gmt":"2016-06-24T09:45:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2016\/06\/24\/244870\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:24:20","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:24:20","slug":"armenian-investment-companies-transactions-grown-41-2-to-amd-57-4-billion-in-april","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2016\/06\/24\/99239\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian investment companies\u2019 transactions grown 41.2% to AMD 57.4 billion in April"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, June 24. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The total amount of transactions formalized by Armenia\u2019s investment companies reached AMD 57.4 billion in April 2016 showing a 41.2% year-on-year growth and 15.2% month-on-month contraction, the Central Bank of Armenia reports in a fresh issue of its monthly bulletin.<\/p>\n<p>The regulator says investment companies\u2019 transactions were mostly made on repo contracts (95.5%).<\/p>\n<p>Repo deals amounted to AMD 53.6 billion accounting for a 48.2% year-on-year growth.<\/p>\n<p>Investment companies\u2019 transactions with equity securities totaled AMD 46 million, with corporate bonds<\/p>\n<p>AMD 305 million and with government bonds AMD 3 377 million in April 2016.<br \/>\nTransactional of banks providing investment services amounted to AMD 281.4 billion in April 2016 \u2013 8.54 times less than the result of the same month a year earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Eight companies and 20 banks providing investment services operate in Armenia now.
