A total of $232.9 million worth non-commercial remittances were sent to individuals in Armenia from Russia in the first four months of 2009, by 11.9% more than in Jan.-April 2009 ($208.1 million), the Central Bank of Armenia said in its monthly bulletin for April, posted on its official website.

EFSE provides USD 10 million loan to Armenia’s converse bank for small business lending

The European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) signed a loan agreement of USD 10 million with Armenia’s Converse Bank for on-lending to small business in Armenia June 9 during its annual meeting in Ohrid, FYR Macedonia.
