Franchising: new opportunities for business expansion

YEREVAN, 15 July. /ARKA/. The Acba Business Club brought together representatives of the Armenian business community for another discussion on the importance of franchising advantages, the risks present in this area and the key issues one has to encounter when creating a franchise from scratch.

The discussion was a joint initiative with the Franchising Association of Armenia. The goal was to present franchising to business people, which gives an opportunity to implement ready-made business models with comprehensive risk assessment, expanding their own opportunities in the international market, Acba Bank’s press service reported.

The guest of the event was international franchising expert, a member of the Franchising Association of Armenia Board Viktor Lyashevsky, who has implemented more than 200 franchising projects over the past 15 years.

“The Armenian market is in a period of super growth and will continue to be so in the coming years. Business people, understanding the market prospects, can approach franchising more intelligently and create models that will have long-term, stable development,” Lyashevsky said.

“Franchising provides an opportunity to expand existing businesses both in Armenia and abroad, as well as to diversify the operations of established and existing businesses,’ said Armine Tumanyan, head of Acba Bank’s non-financial services team.

“Acba Business Club does a very important job; it unites the Armenian business community and co-operates with various companies and associations, which results in a synergy effect, which is extremely important,” said Artur Vardanyan, President of the Franchising Association of Armenia.
