Number of ATMs in Armenia rose to 1,170 in Q4

YEREVAN, March 22. /ARKA/. The number of ATMs in Armenia rose by 47 to 1,170 as of end-December, the Central Bank said in a report.

In addition, the number of POS-terminals jumped by 472 to 6,674 at the end of the fourth quarter.
According to the regulator, only 19 out of 21 commercial banks of the republic were issuing and serving cards. All these 19 banks are said to be members of Armenian Card system.—0-
