Q1 retained earnings of Armenia’s 21 banks down 0.37% to AMD 8.5 bln

YEREVAN, April 17. /ARKA/. Retained earnings of 21 commercial banks of Armenia stood at nearly 8 490,7 million drams in 1Q 2013 versus 8522,4 million drams in the same quarter a year earlier. They are said to tumble by 0.37%, according to ARKA news agency’s Banks of Armenia bulletin.

Fifteen out of 21 Armenia-based banks posted profits. The other six banks lost total of 1.39 billion drams in the reported period, whereas a year ago only four banks reported losses (770.3 million drams).

Below are five top banks with the highest profit  within the reported period.
