Expert: crisis not to affect stability of Armenian banking system

YEREVAN, November 9. / ARKA /. The crisis did not affect the stability of the banking system of Armenia, the chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia Ararat Ghukasyan said.

“In Armenia, the expressions of “banking system” and “crisis” are not compatible, because the Armenian banks are stable, they showed that by getting out of the test with honor. The results of 9 months of 2009 show that the banks were able to withstand the crisis and even grow,” Ghukasyan said to ARKA News Agency
According to the chairman of UBA, 2010 will be better on all counts for the Armenian banking system.  –0-
