Weighted average rate of Armenian dram to us dollar is 396.59 for $1 on march 29, 2010

Armenia's interdepartmental commission will soon present for discussion an action plan to implement MONEYVAL recommendations, said Daniel Azatyan, Chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia, in response to a question from ARKA news agency.

In July 2026, the average exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar in Armenia was 366.8 drams (in July 2025, the exchange rate was 384.1 drams).

At its meeting on August 4, the Central Bank's Board left the refinancing rate unchanged at 6.5% for the sixth consecutive time, the regulator's press service reported.

The average market exchange rate for the US dollar against the Armenian dram, formed on the Armenian foreign exchange market, fell by 0.87 points on August 5, 2026, compared to August 4, to 366.14 drams.

Daniel Azatyan, Chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia, believes the current number of commercial banks in the country is optimal, but theoretically allows for market consolidation.
