Large number of traffic accidents reported by ROSGOSSTRAKH ARMENIA

YEREVAN, February 2. /ARKA/. A large number of traffic accidents caused by snowfall were reported in Armenia on Tuesday.

ROSGOSSTRAKH ARMENIA insurance company’s contact center received 360 calls and was informed about 115 car accidents.

Pays on yesterday’s accidents may reach AMD 20 million, the company’s press office reported on Wednesday.

According to the press release, additional reserves were used for serving clients properly, and the company’s representatives were on the scene in 20 or 25 minutes, on average.

The major crash occurred in Avan, one of Yerevan’s districts, where 15 cars collided. Five of them have been insured by ROSGOSSTRAKH ARMENIA insurance company. No injuries were reported on Tuesday. Tuesday’s night was relatively calm – only five accidents were reported.

“For comparison, the company’s contact center has received 2,846 calls and recorded 796 traffic accidents for January,” the company’s pres office reported.
