Central Bank of Armenia issues four commemorative coins

YEREVAN, February 17, /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) has issued four silver commemorative coins as part of the international numismatic program Evangelic Scenes in Armenian Miniatures. The CBA press office said the coins are called Annunciation, Adoration of the Magi, Ascension and Entering Jerusalem.

Overall 24,000 coins have bee issued , 6,000 for each category. The nominal cost of a coin is 1000 Drams. They are made of pure silver. The size of a coin is 32+32 mm and each eights 31.1 grams. The first three coins were minted in Finland. -0-
