Ameriabank expands cooperation with corporate clients as part of salaries program

YEREVAN, June 1. / ARKA /. Armenian Ameriabank expands cooperation with corporate clients as part of a salaries program, the bank said in a press release. According to it, along with a wide range of payment cards and flexible tariff packages Ameriabank expands its ATM network and offers its clients new opportunities to enjoy discounts when using its plastic cards at trade and services points.

“Ameriabank operates currently 73 ATMs, 56 of which in Yerevan. Bank cardholders have the opportunity to take advantage of significant discounts at more than 200 sales and service points in the capital, ” the press release said.

It also said that 55% of the overall cards issued by the bank in 2010s were payroll cards. Their number grew to 71% in the first quarter of 2011. The bank said also the number of plastic cards issued in the first quarter of 2011 increased by more than 45% and by 116% if compared to the same period of 2010. The number of GOLD and Platinum cards grew by 32% and 134% respectively.

The number of transactions executed by cards in the first quarter of 2011 increased by 36% and by 123% if compared to the same period of time in 2010. The number of issued GOLD and Platinum cards increased by f 40 % and 153%, respectively.
