Average interest rate on individual up-to-one-year deposits downs 0.95 points in July

YEREVAN, September 13. /ARKA/. Average interest rate on individual up-to-one-year deposits downed 0.95 percentage points in July 2011, compared with the previous month, the Central Bank of Armenia said in its monthly review.

Average interest rate on individual deposits in Armenian drams went 0.7 percentage points down to 9.7% and that on deposits in foreign currencies slipped 1.2 percentage points to 4.4%.

Average interest rate on legal entities’ deposits was lowered by 0.1 percentage points to 8.4%, while interest rate on deposits in foreign currencies went 2.5 percentage points down to 5.1%. -0-
