Interest rates on individual foreign currency deposits in Armenia rise by 0.7 p.p. in September

YEREVAN, October 24. / ARKA /. Average interest rate on individual deposits in foreign currency rose by 0.7 percentage point in September as opposed to August to 7.1%, according to a statement posted on the official website of the Central Bank of Armenia.

According to the statement, the average interest rate on individual long-term deposits in foreign currency grew by 0.6 percentage points, and interest rate on short-term foreign currency deposits by 0.8% , amounting at 7.7% 6.4%, respectively.

The interest rates on individual long-term deposits in Armenian national currency, the dram, increased by 0.2 percentage points, reaching 11.5%, and the interest rate on short-term deposits in drams remained unchanged at 9.9%.-0-
