Ranking of most profitable banks in Armenia based on results of first quarter of 2025

YEREVAN, May 7. /ARKA/. ARKA news agency publishes the ranking of the most profitable commercial banks in Armenia based on the results of the first quarter of 2025.

The net profit of the banking system of Armenia in the reporting period amounted to 100.6 billion drams against 80.5 billion drams received in the same period last year, providing an increase of 24.9%. Of the 17 operating banks in Armenia, all worked exclusively with profit. At the same time, 12 banks increased their profit compared to the same period last year, and 5 banks saw a decrease in profit.

According to the ranking of ARKA news agency, the top 5 leaders in terms of profit are: Ardshinbank, Ameriabank, ACBA Bank, Inecobank and Evocabank. The top five account for 72.5% or 72.96 billion drams of the total banking profit.

According to ARKA news agency, Ardshinbank became the most profitable bank in the country in the first quarter of 2025, retaining its leading position. The bank’s net profit amounted to 35.7 billion drams against a profit of 25.4 billion drams received in the first quarter of 2024 (an increase of 40.9%).

Ameriabank is in second place with a profit of 16 billion drams against 12.7 billion drams in January-March 2024 (an increase of 26.1%).

ACBA Bank is third, having received a profit of 7.8 billion drams in the first quarter of 2025 against 5.8 billion drams in the first quarter of 2024 (an increase of 34.1%).

The fourth line of the ARKA ranking is occupied by Inecobank with a profit of 7.46 billion drams, which decreased by 0.24% compared to the same period last year (7.48 billion drams).

The top five for the first quarter of this year is closed by Evocabank. The bank’s profit amounted to 5.9 billion drams against 3 billion drams in January-March last year (an increase of 98%).
