Armenia approves €80 million loan agreement with OPEC Fund

YEREVAN, September 3. /ARKA/. At a meeting on Thursday, the Armenian government approved a draft loan agreement with the OPEC Fund for €80 million as part of the “Armenia Economic Transformation Program.”

According to the project’s rationale, the program aims to improve the competitive environment in Armenia and attract investment.

The funds are provided as budget support. The condition for receiving them is the implementation of measures and reforms in a number of areas outlined in the policy matrix agreed upon by the parties.
