IDBank and Idram Hold Financial Literacy Session for Young Chess Players

YEREVAN, November 3. /ARKA/. IDBank and Idram continue their series of financial literacy sessions. This time, the participants were young chess players from the Malatia-Sebastia Children and Youth Sports School.

Just as in chess, managing personal finances requires thinking several steps ahead. Through practical examples, the children learned how to manage a personal budget, plan their expenses, and save money. They also became familiar with the functions of bank accounts, payment cards, and e-wallets, and learned what to consider when taking out a loan or choosing a  deposit.

Part of the session was dedicated to financial security. Participants learned about common fraud schemes, how to recognize suspicious calls and messages, and how to protect their bank card details. Using the Idram Junior app as an example, the children explored how to carry out everyday financial transactions using their smartphones, such as making QR payments, topping up mobile phone balances, and receiving money from their parents.

The “Financial Literacy with Idram and IDBank” initiative aims to help children and young people develop responsible money management habits and learn to use digital financial tools safely from an early age.
