Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Refurbished

YEREVAN, September 4. /ARKA/. With the support of the Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation, the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute has received 120 radio guides and 45 new audio guides.

The audio guides are available in five languages: English, Russian, French, German, and Chinese. Spanish and Italian will soon be added.

“This investment is very important for the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, as it increases the museum’s efficiency. For example, thanks to the radio guides, several guides can work simultaneously in the hall and serve large groups without noise or disturbing each other, and the audio guide helps you become your own guide, setting your own pace for the tour,” noted Anna Gishyan, Director of the Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation. “The Stepan Gishyan Foundation is one of the organizations that regularly supports the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. We implemented our first joint project in 2020, when, with the support of the Stepan Gishyan Foundation, we purchased projectors that are still in use at the museum today. This is our second successful collaboration, thanks to which we received 120 radio guides and 45 audio guides,” noted Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

The Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation was established by ACBA Bank, French Credit Agricole, the National Federation of Credit Agricole, and the family of Stepan Gishyan. The foundation’s programs are aimed at strengthening Armenian-French ties and improving and enhancing Armenia’s socio-economic, scientific, educational, cultural, and healthcare systems.
