Inflation of 4.4% recorded in Armenia in August

YEREVAN, September 3. /ARKA/. In the Armenian consumer market, 12-month inflation in August of this year amounted to 4.4%, according to a report from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

Moreover, in August, compared to July of the same year, inflation was 0.2%.

At the same time, prices increased by 4.5% in January-August 2026 compared to the same period in 2025.

The Armenian state budget for 2026 projects inflation at 3% (±1%). According to the Central Bank’s monetary policy report for the second quarter of this year, inflation in Armenia is expected to be 4.4-3.3% by the end of 2026, depending on scenario (A-B), the forecast for 2027 is 3.5-3.1%, and for 2028 – 3.2-3.1%.
