Credit portfolio of the branches of the banks in Karabakh as of November is 53.6 billion drams

STEPANAKERT, November 9. /ARKA/. Total volume of credit portfolio of operating branches of Armenian commercial banks in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) within nine months of 2011 increased by 40.3% compared to the same period of 2010 making 53569.2 million drams as of November 1, 2011.

Compared to October 2011 the growth was 5.4%, NKR National Statistic Service informs.

According to the press-release, in total credit portfolio 52.8% are foreign currency credits. The share of overdue credits are 0.5%.

As of November 1, 2011 the volume of bank deposits attracted by the branches was 38496.9 million drams, increased by 9.6% compared to the same period of 2010, and by 2.3% – compared to the last month.

68.1% of deposits are time deposits, 23.3% – demand deposits and 8.6% – target deposits. -0-
