Armenia’s converse bank embarks on “Become Santa Claus!” charity campaign

YEREVAN, December 13. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Converse Bank has embarked on “Be Santa Claus!” charity campaign for children from Mari Izmirlian children’s home.
This is the second time the bank runs such a campaign.
The bank put boxes in its head office and Central, Sayat-Nova, Araratyan and Moskovyan offices in Yerevan for raising money.
Upon completing the money raising the bank will double the raised donations.
There is account 19300 36912207200 in the bank for donations for Mari Izmirlian children’s home.
According to the press release, the bank will purchase household devises, carpets and other necessary facilities for the children’s home.
In 2010, every child got an individual present under this campaign.
“After the completion of the campaign this children’s home will hold a New-Year party, and the bank’s employees can attend it,” the press release says.
Converse Bank was registered on December 20, 1993.
In February 2007, Eduardo Eurnekian, Argentine entrepreneur of Armenian descent, bought 95% of the bank’s shares. The remaining 5% belong to Armenian Apostolic Church. -0–
