Neither dollar nor euro transactions effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia

YEREVAN, January 28. /ARKA/. Neither dollar nor euro transactions were effected yesterday at NASDAQ OMX Armenia, the stock exchange’s press office reports.

 Ashot Melik-Karamyan, chief of Ardshininvestbank’s monetary division, told ARKA News Agency that there was nothing strange in the absence of forex deals at the Armenian stock exchange. “This is an absolutely normal phenomenon,” he said.
 
Melik-Karamyan said that every year some stagnation is seen here in January.
 
The latest forex deal was concluded here on Wednesday, when the dollar traded at 387.28.
 
On Friday, the Central Bank of Armenia downed the dollar 0.40 points, compared with Thursday, to 386.63 drams.-0—
