Armenia’s monetary base shrinks 0.9% to AMD 574.7 bln last week

YEREVAN, April 11. /ARKA/. Monetary base in Armenia  decreased by 5.3 billion drams or 0.9% to over 574.7 billion drams as of April 6 from early that  week, the data compiled by the Central Bank of Armenia says.
Cash outside the Central Bank of Armenia advanced 3.8% or 14.1 billion drams to over 380.9 billion drams from early that week.
Net international reserves (without privatization funds) as of April 6 lost 2.2% or 8.2 billion drams totaling in 358.4 billion drams from early that week. ($1- 391.27 drams). —0–

The total net profit (after tax) of Armenian banks in Q1 2026 amounted to AMD 103.48 billion, compared to AMD 101.18 billion in Q1 2025, an increase of 2.27%. Moreover, compared to the previous quarter, Q4 2025, the increase was 5.84%.
