Interest rates on deposits in Armenia fall by 0.2 p.p. to 8% in April

YEREVAN, May 23. /ARKA/. An average interest rate on deposits in Armenia loses 0.2 p.p. reaching 8% in April from a month earlier, the data published on Central Bank’s website states.
Average interest rate on short-term deposits in Armenian dram climbed in average by 0.6 p.p. to 9.2%, and dropped by 0.9 p. p. to 4.4% – in foreign currency from March.

At the same time average interest rate on long-term deposits in Armenian drams tumbled 0.1 p.p. to 11.4%, and to 7.2% (0.1 p.p. shrink)- in foreign currency within the reported period. ($1- 401.07 drams).—0–
