August deposit interest rates slash 0.3 p.p. to 8.7% in Armenia

YEREVAN, October 4. /ARKA/. Deposit average interest rates in Armenia slashed by 0.3 p.p. to 8.7% in August from July, according to the information published on Central Bank’s official website.

The source shows that the AMD short-term deposit average interest rate slipped by 0.2 p.p. to 9.9%, and the foreign deposit rate dropped by 0.2 p.p. to 5.7% in August from a month earlier.
At the same time, the AMD long-term deposit average rate fell by 0.7 p.p. to 10.95%, the foreign deposit rate – by 0.2 p.p. to 8%. ($1- 407.98 drams). —0–
