Total of $19.3mln traded in USD at NASDAQ OMX Armenia last week

YEREVAN, December 24. /ARKA/. Amount of transactions in USD at Nasdaq OMX Armenia stock exchange in the period from December 17 to 21 grew by 35.3% to over $19.3mln, the press service of Armenia’s Central Bank reported. USD average exchange rate was 404.92 drams. No transaction was effected in euro or Russian rubles.

In January 2008, Nordic exchange operator OMX Group acquired 100% of shares of the Armenian Stock Exchange (Armex). NASDAQ OMX Armenia has been the full owner of the Central Depository of Armenia (CDA) since June 5, 2009. The stock exchange received a forex trading license in November 2005.–0–
