Armenia’s national currency gains 5.3 percent over foreign currencies in July

YEREVAN, September 9. / ARKA /. Armenia’s national currency, the dram, gained 5.3 percent over foreign currencies in July, according to the monthly bulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia for July.

Thus, the real effective exchange rate of the dram in July this year gained 7.8% compared to 2012 July.

At the same time, the nominal effective exchange rate of the dram against foreign currencies in July 2013 compared with June 2013 gained 4.9%, and by 2.9 percent when compared to July last year. ($1- 412.14 drams). -0-
