Armenian regulator’s repo transactions total AMD 426 billion in late July

YEREVAN, September 12. /ARKA/. Armenian central bank’s repurchase transactions totaled AMD 426 billion in late July after growing 58.3% over the month, according to the monthly bulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia.

No reverse repurchase deals were recorded in July (in June AMD 11.3 billion).

Deposits attracted by the central bank amounted to AMD 72.3 billion – 76.8% month-on-month growth. ($1 – 409.60). —0—-

The total net profit (after tax) of Armenian banks in Q1 2026 amounted to AMD 103.48 billion, compared to AMD 101.18 billion in Q1 2025, an increase of 2.27%. Moreover, compared to the previous quarter, Q4 2025, the increase was 5.84%.
