3.4% inflation in Armenia in Jan-June 2014

YEREVAN, August 20. /ARKA/. Inflation in Armenia was recorded at 3.4% in Jan-June 2014, compared with the same period a year earlier, the National Statistical Service reports.

Consumer prices went 0.9% down in Jan-June 2014, compared with the previous month.

According to the statistical report, economic activity showed a 4.1% year-on-year growth in Jan-June 2014.

In the 2014 government budget, inflation is projected at 4% (±1.5%) and GDP growth at 5.2%. –0–
