ATMs number reaches to 1,357 in Armenia

YEREVAN, December 18th. / ARKA /. The number of ATMs installed in Armenia by commercial banks rose to 1,357 at the end of September 2014, the Central bank said in its monthly bulletin for the third quarter. It said their number increased by 22 in the third quarter.

At the same time the number of operating POS-terminals decreased by 57 at the end of the third quarter to 6,902.

Only 19 commercial banks out of 21 issued and serviced banking cards. These 19 banks are members of Armenian Card (ArCa) single payment and settlement system.-0-
