Inflation in Armenia recorded at 4.3% in January 2015

YEREVAN, February 20. /ARKA/. Inflation in Armenia was recorded at 4.3% in January 2015, compared with January 2014, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

Consumer prices grew 2.5% in January 2015, compared with December 2014.

According to the statistical report, economic activity in the country rose 1.3% in January 2015, compared with the same month a year before.

In the government budget for 2015, inflation was projected at 4% (±1.5%) and GDP growth at 4.1%. –0–

Inflation of 5.3% recorded in Armenia in April

In the Armenian consumer market, 12-month inflation in April of this year amounted to 5.3%, according to a report from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

The average exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar in April was 4.2% lower than a year ago

In April 2026, the average exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar was 374.2 drams, compared to 390.7 drams in April 2025, according to data from the Statistical Committee.
