ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK plants 300 trees in Akunk village

YEREVAN, April 28. / ARKA /. Employees of ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK together with Armenian Tree Project (ATP) have planed trees in the village of Akunk in central Kotayk province of Armenia.

The press service of the bank said tree planting involved also local residents. Overall, some 300 trees were planted near the Church of St. Karapet.

ACBA was established in 1996 as part of EU’s TACIS program. As a result of a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between ACBA Bank and the French Credit Agricole the latter became the biggest shareholder of ACBA in 2006, September. ACBA was restructured, becoming a closed joint stock company and was renamed ACBA CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK.

According to the latest data, the bank’s assets in 2014 amounted to 286.4 billion drams; its liabilities were 237 billion drams and capital was 49.37 billion drams.  ($1 – 474.42 drams) -0-
