Armenian Central Bank keeps key rate unchanged at 10.5 percent

Byblos Bank Armenia CJSC announces that the Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Hayk Stepanyan will conclude his tenure with the Bank effective August 1, 2026.

Retail clients of VTB (Armenia) can open a "Stable" deposit at a rate of up to 10% per annum when deposited in the national currency for a term of 12 months.

Moody’s Ratings has affirmed Unibank’s long-term deposit ratings at B1, as well as its b2 BCA and Adjusted BCA.

Armenia's financial agenda last week was determined by banking sector data, rating decisions, inflation and public debt forecasts, exchange rate dynamics, personnel changes at Byblos Bank Armenia, and expert assessments of the possible impact of restrictions on goods supplies to Russia.

The international rating agency Moody's Ratings has revised the outlook on Armenia's sovereign rating from stable to positive, affirming its long-term issuer ratings in both local and foreign currencies at Ba3.
