$64.5 million bought by commercial banks last week at Armenia’s intra-banking forex market

YEREVAN, August 31. /ARKA/. Commercial banks bought $64.5 million at 482.14 drams per one dollar at Armenia’s intra-banking foreign exchange market over a period between August 24 and 28, the press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reports.

They also bought €7.4 million and 1 billion Russian rubles at the mentioned period at 548.82 drams and 6.96 drams respectively.

The loans extended by Armenia’s commercial banks in drams over a period between August 17 and 23 amounted to $38 billion, and dollar loans totaled $37 million. ($1 – AMD 483.53). –0–
