The Armenian brokerage market continues to grow, but its future development will be determined not so much by the number of open accounts as by its ability to attract and retain active investors.

As of September 30, 2026, Yerevan’s budget had received 75.7 billion drams in own revenues, surpassing the 72.9 billion drams projected for the January–September period, reported David Hakobyan, acting head of the Revenue Accounting and Collection Department at the Yerevan City Hall.

Opportunities for attracting private capital, expanding public-private partnerships (PPPs), and implementing the "Crossroads of Peace" project were discussed at a meeting between Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and an Asian Development Bank (ADB) delegation led by Vice President Wempi Saputra.

All 17 commercial banks currently operating in Armenia were included in the list of the country’s 1,000 largest taxpayers for the first nine months of 2026, according to data from the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
