$400,000 worth transactions effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia

YEREVAN, February 15. / ARKA /. Three transactions worth $400,000 (the equivalent of 194.8 million drams) were effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on February 15.

According to the stock exchange, the weighted average exchange rate of US dollar remained unchanged at 487 drams. The previous transactions at the stock exchange were reported on January 25, 2016 when $600,000 worth deals were made.

In 2016 no transactions were effected at the stock exchange for months. Overall, 35 transactions were effected last year to the tune of 1.8 billion drams ($3.850 million). For comparison, 2,036 transactions were effected in 2015 worth 149 billion drams (the equivalent of $312.5 million).

On February 15, 2017 the USD traded at Nasdaq OMX Armenia at 486.62 drams, while euro traded at 513.72 drams.-0-
